A History of the Chrysler Brand

Chrysler was incorporated in 1925 as the Chrysler Corporation under the leadership of Walter P. Chrysler. Soon after, the company purchased Dodge Brothers and introduced Plymouth in 1928 to even further make its mark on the automotive industry. With technology, functionality, and family remaining at the forefront of everything we do, we’ve been able to maintain and expand upon the proud history that is Chrysler.

The name was changed from Chrysler Corporation to Chrysler Group LLC in 2009. For many years Chrysler was one of the “Big Three” automobile makers in the United States. Chrysler is now a part of the Fiat family, and to this day, we remain at the forefront of innovative design. We continue to redefine industry standards while focusing on the production of minivans and full-size cars.

This organization focuses on families and helping stop childhood hunger in the United States. The children of America deserve to focus on things other than where their next meal will be coming from, and No Kid Hungry helps solve this problem.

Chrysler is also partnered with Canine Companions. This organization helps to provide assistance dogs to veterans, children, and adults with disabilities who may not otherwise be able to afford a service dog. This helps drive independence and support awareness for the importance of support for those in need.
