When you need a break and are looking for entertainment venues, Sallisaw, OK has what you need. Though we’re a small town, we don’t shy away from taking a day or a night off and having some fun. See the following activities that we personally enjoy.
1. Adventure Skydive Center
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to throw yourself from a perfectly good airplane? Turn that wonder into reality by making a tandem jump here at this fine facility. Feel the breeze on your knees as you soar through the skies at 120 miles per hour with your certified instructor. Don’t forget to add the video package, because you can never make your first skydive again! You can also get certified here to jump completely by yourself.
They are located at 1700 S. Kerr Blvd. in Sallisaw. They are currently open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Be sure to make your reservation as they can become busy.
2. Mr. Wayne’s Family Billiards
Pool-playing enthusiasts will appreciate this facility, which offers several pool tables in a clean environment. You can play on the quarterly tables or have one for an hour. There’s also an old-fashioned jukebox as well as arcade games and ping pong. Enjoy their snacks and beverages as well. Everything is reasonably priced, plus kids 12 and under play for no cost. And women can come out on Wednesdays for ladies’ night.
Mr. Wayne’s is located at 1900 US 64 in Sallisaw. Their hours are noon to 11 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
3. Cincos Sports Bar and Mexican Grill
Come on down to Cincos for a housemade margarita or cold beer and delicious food as you enjoy watching your favorite games on the large-screen televisions. Popular cuisine choices include the three birria taco platter, the ground beef taco platter, the barbacoa California burrito, the jalapeno poppers, and the chicken quesadilla. They also serve burgers, chicken wings, egg rolls, mini tacos, and more. Find this fine establishment at 230 N. Oak St.
They are open every day except for Sundays and Mondays. Please drink responsibly and in moderation, and do not drink and drive. Alcohol is intended for adults of legal drinking age.
