Sallisaw has some great options for restaurants. The most difficult part of finding a good dinner in town is choosing where to go. Luckily, our team at Blue Ribbon Chevrolet has been around the block a few times, and we’ve put together a list of the most mouth-watering restaurants in the area.

  1. Blue Ribbon Diner

There’s nothing more American than a good diner. The Blue Ribbon Diner is a great place to grab some Southern-inspired American food. Show up for a omelette and hashbrown breakfast, lunch for great fried chicken and onion rings, or dinner for a nice chicken-fried steak.

Blue Ribbon Diner is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. 

  1. Asian Star

If you’re a fan of Asian food, you’ll love Asian Star. They have a full menu that features great chicken, beef, seafood, pork, stir-fry and more. Start off with a great appetizer of crab rangoon, Chinese donuts, or fried dumplings, and move on to one of the chef’s specialty dishes. If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick dinner to take home to the family, Asian Star is the perfect place.

Show up for one of their lunch specials Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday, and 11:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday.

  1. Roma’s Italian Restaurant

Roma’s is consistently one of the most high-rated restaurants in Sallisaw. For a fantastic Italian experience, head over to Roma’s Italian Restaurant. Lasagna, cheese ravioli, manicotti, New York-style pizzas, steaks, seafood — their menu is impressively varied. Their specialty is pasta dishes, and you won’t find better in town.

Roma’s is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m Friday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Show up for one of their lunch specials Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  1. Wildhorse Mountain BBQ

For a classic BBQ platter, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better joint than Wildhorse Mountain BBQ. Grab a pulled pork sandwich, ribs, and smoked bologna and smother them in their famously delicious homemade BBQ sauce. The atmosphere at this restaurant is pure Oklahoman, and the people running the meat smoker know exactly what they’re doing.

Wildhorse is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Sunday.

  1. Aromas Coffee Shop

If you want an expertly hand-crafted coffee drink, tasty baked goods, or a hearty sandwich, check out Aromas Coffee Shop. They have great soups made in-house, such as tomato soup, chicken salad sandwiches on croissants, loaded baked potatoes, white chicken chili, and more. Once you’re done with your wholesome lunch, order a mudslide, cappuccino, or coffee to-go to stay fueled for the entire day.

Aromas is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
