The Jeep Gladiator Overland provides the rugged, capable features of a Jeep in the body of a mid-size truck. Here are the five things you need to know about the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland.

1. Exterior Features

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator Overland is equipped with automatic halogen headlights, automatic headlight off-time delay, daytime running lights, and fog lights. The Overland has a 5-foot cargo bed outfitted with LED lighting and cargo tie-down loops. A three-position tailgate allows easy hauling of large construction materials such as plywood sheets.

The cab of the Overland is equipped with light aluminum doors and your choice of either a soft or hardtop. Both the soft and hardtop are easily removed to open up the cabin. All-season tires and wide 18-inch aluminum wheels will take your Overland anywhere you want to go.

2. Interior Features

Cloth seats are standard on the Overland, but you can upgrade to black leather if you choose. The rear seat is a 60/40 split-fold, allowing you to configure the back to suit all kinds of cargo. Controls for the eight-speaker audio system are located on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Overland has top-of-the-line infotainment features, including Uconnect 4 with a seven-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and USB host flip. A customizable seven-inch driver information display allows quick access to vehicle speed, fuel efficiency, and more.

3. Engine and Performance

The Overland’s 3.6L V-6 engine is equipped with Engine Stop Start (ESS) to save fuel. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the Overland, but you can also choose the optional eight-speed automatic. The Overland is equipped with Jeep’s Command-Trac Part-Time 4WD system. Properly equipped, the Overland has a payload capacity of 1,600 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. Electronic trailer-sway control is standard on all Overlands.

4. Safety Features

Every 2020 Overland is equipped with advanced multistage air bags, heavy-duty anti-lock brakes, and electronic roll mitigation and stability control. Traction control, hill start assist, and a ParkView rear backup camera are also standard. The Overland’s hydraulic-assist brake booster maintains brake performance no matter what the road throws your way.

5. Customization Options

With lots of optional packages, you can customize your Overland to suit any lifestyle. Love music? The 8.4-inch radio and premium audio group add an Alpine premium audio system, HD radio, Uconnect 4C with navigation, and an 8.4-inch touch-screen display. Carrying lots of cargo? The cargo management group with trail rail system adds a 115-volt AC outlet to the Overland bed and a lockable rear under-seat storage bin. If you frequently hitch up a trailer to your Overland, you will love the Trailer-tow Package that includes a frame-mounted Class IV receiver hitch, heavy-duty engine cooling, and a 4x trailer hitch zoom camera.

Owners that live with harsh winter conditions will love the heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and Remote-Start System included in the Cold Weather Option group.
