2020 Jeep GladiatorIf you’re planning to buy a new Jeep, but you’re not sure which model is for you, the following info will shine a little light on several of the top choices.

Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler lineup is known for its durability and precision off-road capabilities, which has earned it the title of Off-Road SUV of Texas for the 10th year in a row. There are nine trims to choose from, which give you plenty of standard and optional features to satisfy your driving preferences. The trims include the Sahara Altitude, Sport Altitude, Freedom, Black & Tan, Willys, Rubicon, Sahara. Sport S, and Sport.

Standard features across the trims include a 3.6-liter V-6  variable valve timing (VVT) engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. A 4-1 Rock-Trac Heavy-Duty part-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system is standard on the Rubicon. The Command-Trac part-time 4WD system is standard on the remaining trims.

Low-back cloth bucket seats are standard on all trims with leather-trimmed bucket seats available on the Rubicon. The Uconnect 4 with a 7-inch display is standard on the Sahara, Sahara Altitude, and Rubicon with the Uconnect 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch display option for the three trims. For added capability, the Rubicon and Willys come equipped with rock protection sill rails. Fuel tank and transfer case skid plate shields are available across all trims.

SUVs

In the Jeep lineup, the available number of SUVs is impressive. These include the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Compass, and the Renegade. Each model has additional trims. For example, the Grand Cherokee has nine: Summit, High Altitude, Overland, Limited X, Limited, Altitude, Upland, Laredo E, and Laredo. Standard features include the same engine and transmission as the Jeep Wrangler.

Exterior colors are eye-catching such as the velvet red pearl, granite crystal metallic, diamond black crystal pearl, and slate blue pearl. Depending on the trims, they are fitted with 17-inch, 18-inch, or 20-inch aluminum or painted aluminum wheels.

Optional packages on select trims include the luxury group II, trailer-tow group IV, and security and convenience group.

Trucks

The all-new Gladiator is everything you could want in a truck: the Jeep reputation combined with an all-purpose truck on and off the road. The Gladiator is available in four trims: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. Choose colors like firecracker red, punk’n metallic, and hydro blue pearl and you’re assured of standing out from the crowd.

The Gladiator runs with the power of the 3.6-liter 24 valve VVT and a six-speed manual transmission that puts you in control. For entertainment, the Gladiator comes with eight speakers and the option of an Alpine Premium audio system. It’s fitted with a two-way manual lumbar adjustable driver seat and four-way manual adjustable front passenger seat, cloth bucket seats and black stitched leather as an upgrade.

Standard safety features include advanced multistage front airbags, anti-lock four-wheel disc heavy-duty brakes, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

When you’re down to the line and need to choose your ride, schedule a test drive of each model to experience first-hand the level of power, performance, and technology you’ll experience behind the wheel.
