Blue Ribbon Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Mar 24, 2023

There’s nothing better on a Saturday morning than sleeping in, taking your time, and then–when you’re good and hungry–hopping into your Dodge Challenger and going for a great brunch. These are some of our favorite brunch places in Sallisaw, OK.

Blue Ribbon Diner

Go to 1720 W Cherokee Ave here in Sallisaw to dine at this beloved local spot. The Blue Ribbon Diner opens at 6AM, but this is a great place to come after the early morning breakfast crowd and enjoy a leisurely brunch. Be sure to check out their specials. There’s always something on offer.

Indulge in one of their omelets, like the all meat (with bacon, ham, and sausage) or the Spanish omelet. But you don’t want to miss their specialty: an egg platter. Basically, you choose whether you want one or two eggs, and then you choose anything in the world to go with it, from sausage, ham, pork chops, and steak to chicken fried steak and more. We also love their Oklahoma Cowboy Hashbrowns, which are grilled with sausage, peppers, onions, and tomatoes and smothered with cheese and gravy.

Ruger’s Grill

Ruger’s is located at 118 E Cherokee Ave, and they also open up at 6AM. Once again, if you get there early, you’ll find a crowd, but if you head over for brunch around 10AM, you’ll enjoy the best of their breakfast or lunch items in a friendly atmosphere with quality food at good prices.

They also serve egg platters, including a three-egg platter that comes with or without meat. They have great omelets (choose the mushroom, if you want our advice), and the silver dollar pancakes are a delicious treat. If you like some lunch food in your brunch, we recommend getting their corn nuggets or breaded mushrooms for an appetizer or their amazing BLT.

Sherry’s Farmhouse Kitchen

This is a brand new edition to our community, and they’re located at 2333 E Cherokee Ave. They are open 24 hours a day and serve breakfast all day long, so there’s literally no time of the day you can’t enjoy a delicious brunch. Don’t be surprised if there’s a line, though: just because they’re new doesn’t mean they aren’t packed out nearly all the time. This is a great place for homemade food, and if you aren’t sure what you want, just ask Sherry for a recommendation!

What we recommend is the sausage and cheese omelet, and if you need even more, try the all meat omelet. Their sweet cream pancakes are AMAZING, so be sure to get a stack of those. Their stack special comes with bacon, sausage, or ham. We’re also big fans of their big farmhouse breakfasts, and the Cooper’s Special: which is two pork chops and two eggs, with hashbrowns or delicious grits, and either toast or biscuits and gravy. Their coffee here is particularly good, too.

Brunch is a great idea, and it could be the best meal of your day. After you’ve enjoyed your fill of delicious food, come see us at Blue Ribbon Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for the best service in Oklahoma!
