If you’re looking for a vehicle with plenty of horsepower, Dodge has a couple of options for you to consider. The two-door Challenger and four-door Charger have horsepower to spare for those drivers who prefer powerful engines. Trims Available

The 2021 Dodge Challenger is available in five unique trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat. Within those trims are even more choices, including SRT Hellcat Redeye, SRT Super Stock, and a Widebody package. You can also add the T/A, Technology, Driver Convenience, and Blacktop groups. The Challenger allows you to create a vehicle that matches your personality and provides you with the bells and whistles you seek.

Similarly, the 2021 Dodge Charger also offers a plethora of trim levels and options within those trim levels. The six main trim levels include SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye. Packages that can be added to customize these trims further are the Plus, Daytona Edition, Technology, Blacktop, Performance Handling, Driver Convenience, and Navigation and Travel groups.

 

Power and Performance

If you’re in the market for a muscle car, power and performance are at the top of your list, and Dodge has plenty to offer. Engine options on the Challenger include a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 303 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque, a 5.7-liter V-8 delivering 372 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, and a 6.4-liter V-8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.

You can also find a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 producing 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque and an upgraded 6.2-liter V-8 that delivers 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. And if that just isn’t enough for you, there’s a further upgraded 6.2 V-8 that produces a whopping 807 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. Depending on trim, these engines are paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also trim dependent is the option of the all-wheel drive instead of the standard rear-wheel drive.

The Charger has a wide range of engine options as well, allowing you to choose how much power you get. There’s a 3.6-liter V-6 offering 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque on the front-wheel-drive or 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque on the rear-wheel- and all-wheel-drive options. You can also get a 5.7-liter V-8 producing 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque, a 6.4-liter V-8 that delivers 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, and a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 with 717 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, there’s an upgraded supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that will get you an impressive 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque for the Charger. All engine options on the Charger are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is also standard, with the option on several trims to upgrade to all-wheel drive.
