The 2023 Chrysler 300 is the last model year of this classic full-size sedan. First introduced in the 2005 model year and last updated in 2011, the 300 has had a long run. Keep reading to learn more about some of the main reasons why you should consider the 300 as your next new vehicle.

Basics About the 2023 Chrysler 300

The 300 is Chrysler’s full-sized sedan that offers tons of space to move you and your family around, while still packing quite a punch under the hood and offering modern amenities to help you travel in style. As a full-sized sedan, you can comfortably fit five adults in the cabin with ample leg and headroom, while still making use of the 16.3 cubic feet of storage space in the trunk.

What’s New for 2023?

For the final model year in the 300’s production run, Chrysler has brought back the 300C trim complete with the classic 485-horsepower V8 engine that it was known for. The 300C also comes with several interior and exterior upgrades, like carbon fiber accents and an adaptive suspension system. However, the rest of the 300’s 2023 lineup remains unchanged.

Standout Features of the 300

Engine and Performance

The standard engine on most trims of the 300 is a powerful 3.6L V6 that comes in both AWD and RWD configurations and is rated at 292 horsepower. It enjoys a respectable average fuel efficiency rating of 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway for the RWD variant and a comparable 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway for the AWD engines.

As mentioned, the 300C comes with its own trim-specific V8 engine, which only comes in RWD configurations and clocks in at 15 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Interior and Technology

Chrysler’s industry-leading UConnect system is one of the main highlights of the 300, offering a simple-to-use but immensely versatile interface with an 8.4-inch color touchscreen and the ability to connect effortlessly to your smartphone through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Power seats with lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control, and illuminated cupholders all round out the interior.

Other features of note include a standard 19-speaker premium Harmon Kardon audio system included at the 300C trim level and optional on other models. The 300C also comes standard with unique black leather upholstery and interior black carbon fiber accents that add additional flair.
