The Power

Power for the Cherokee Latitude and Latitude Plus comes from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine that develops 180 horsepower. A 3.2-liter V-6 with 271 horsepower comes under the hood of the Latitude Lux, the Limited, and the Trailhawk. Jeep also offers a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder for the Latitude Lux and the Limited that puts out 270 horsepower. When equipped, the Cherokee can tow up to 4,500 pounds.

 

The Trailhawk

The off-road-ready Trailhawk has the upscale features of the Limited and adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, underbody skid plates, and a locking rear differential. It uses Jeep’s Active Drive Lock all-wheel-drive system and the Selec-Terrain system with rock mode and crawl control.

 

Safety Features

Every 2021 Cherokee comes standard with driver-assist safety features to make your ride even better and safer. The driver aids include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a forward-collision warning system with mitigation, and lane-keep assist.
