Blue Ribbon Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

The 2023 Dodge Durango is designed for work and play, with enough space for more than half a basketball team and enough power to make towing and carrying cargo for work a possibility as well. With three rows of a seat, a monstrously powerful engine, and all the modern technology Dodge has to offer, you won’t be left wanting for features.

Tons of Storage

The Durango is Dodge’s full-size SUV, with three rows of seating and enough room to comfortably sit seven people. Even with a full vehicle, there is still 17.2 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk. With the back two rows folded down, which they do flat to the floor, that cargo space can be expanded to a maximum of just over 85 cubic feet, which is enough to move furniture, a full set of ski gear, or a heap of work materials at a moment’s notice.

Powerful Engine Options

The Durango comes standard with a 3.6L V6 engine that supplies 295 horsepower, which is enough to tow up to 6,200 pounds. This can be upgraded to three V8 options: a 5.7L at 360 horsepower and a max towing capacity of 7,400 pounds, a 6.4L at 475 horsepower and a towing capacity of 8,700 pounds, and finally a supercharged 6.2L engine with 710 horsepower and up to 8,700 pounds of towing capacity, which is only available on the SRT Hellcat trim.

Top-of-the-Line Safety Features

The Durango comes standard with blindspot monitoring sensors, as well as rear-cross traffic sensors that can help you when reversing out of a driveway or parking spot. The safety suite can be upgraded with optional automated emergency braking, forward collision warning and braking assist, and adaptive cruise control to make road trips just a bit more manageable.

In addition, you can also add convenience features that can help keep you focused while on long drives, like rain-sensing windshield wipers and lane-keeping warning and assist.

The Return of the SRT Hellcat

The most notable change to the 2023 Durango lineup was the reintroduction of the SRT Hellcat trim, which skipped the 2022 model year. Beyond the immense amount of power under the hood, which we’ve already mentioned, the SRT Hellcat comes standard with paddle shifters on the steering wheel, leather upholstery, and a massive 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment center with Alexa integration and the ability to pair with two Bluetooth devices.

Available options include a subscription-based WiFi hotspot to keep you connected while traveling, a dual-screen rear entertainment system for the second row, and a premium 19-speaker sound system.
