2019 Jeep WranglerFor off-road adventures, you want to get behind the wheel of a reliable and durable vehicle that can get the job done efficiently. Enter the 2020 Jeep Wrangler that makes off-road excursions the best they can be. With its traditional body-on-frame construction, you can count on the durability of the Wrangler to tackle off-road terrain with ease. The mid-size SUV is available with two or four doors, a soft-top convertible or hardtop, and several powertrains.

Exterior Trims and Enhancements

The  Wrangler makes it easy to find the trim that works with your lifestyle and plans for off-road adventures. The 2020 models include the Sport, Sport S, Sport Altitude, Black and Tan, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Sahara Altitude.

Depending on the trim, the Jeep is equipped with features to promote quality drive time on and off the road such as 17-inch steel wheels, alloy wheels, tow hooks, skid plates, fold-down windshield, fog lights, manual mirrors with locks, and removable metal doors fitted with crank windows.

Off-road equipment makes off-road adventures possible for the Jeep. Available features include heavy-duty brakes, 32-inch all-terrain tires, rails and shocks, a limited-slip rear differential, electronic front, and rear lockable differentials, heavy-duty axles, rock rails, and an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar. Access to these systems keep the Wrangler running true to form.

Power

The Wrangler is equipped with one of three engines. The standard is the 3.6-liter V-6 supported by a six-speed manual transmission. If you prefer an automatic transmission, an eight-speed is optional. It produces a healthy 295 horsepower at 6,400 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 260 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 revolutions per minute (rpm). A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is optional and comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. A 3.0-liter diesel engine is expected to be available in the near future.

Interior

Drivers can navigate and maneuver in comfort in the well-designed interior whether driving in town or on a back road. Available comfort and convenience features include cloth or leather upholstery, keyless entry, heated steering wheel, remote start cruise control, push-button start, leather-wrapped shifter, and remote start. Seating is supportive and comfortable with available heated seats, supportive two-way lumbar adjustment, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 60/40-split-folding rear seat.

Technology

There’s no shortage of available technology features on the Wrangler such as the 5-inch or 7-inch touch screen, an 8.4-inch display with navigation, Bluetooth, USB port, rearview camera, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Anytime you’re out and about, enjoy the ride with entertainment features, which include satellite radio and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system.

Safety

Two safety packages add a level of confidence to drive time. The regular Safety Group package includes front and rear parking sensors and a blind-spot monitor. The Advanced Safety Group package includes forward-collision warning system and adaptive cruise control.

If you’re in the market for a complete package vehicle that can handle both on-road and off-road excursions, test drive the 2020 Jeep Wrangler and see where the road may take you.
