Take Good Care of Your Tires

Tires encounter all kinds of unpredictable obstacles when off-roading, getting bumped, jolted, and tilted from all angles. Change Your Air Filters Frequently

When off-roading, your vehicle must contend with much dustier, dirtier air, which clogs up the air filters more rapidly than with most vehicles. Both your engine and cabin air filters may need to be replaced two or three times a year; check each filter regularly and install new ones when they become clearly clogging up with grime.

Change the Motor Oil Quarterly

The extra dust of an off-road adventure can also make its way into the motor oil, thickening and degrading it at a faster rate. And the challenges of off-roading will frequently push your engine to its limit. Take optimal care of both the engine and the oil with frequent oil checks and changes. You may need to change your oil three or four times a year.

Maintain Your Jeep’s Cooling System

You should also prevent your Jeep’s engine from heating up by taking diligent care of the cooling system. Along with flushing the coolant every two years or so, have the cooling system examined and pressure-tested at least once a year.

Have Your Brakes Inspected Often

Your brakes will also require annual inspections. In addition to this, respond promptly to squealing, vibrating, clattering, or other signs of brake trouble by promptly replacing any worn-out parts.
