The Jeep Wrangler continues to dominate the charts in the off-road department. With its 2019 model year release, the Wrangler is more capable and fun than ever. If you have an itch to explore the outdoors and see what this amazing planet has to offer, get behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler. Here's an in-depth look at what makes the SUV so special. Unsurpassed Off-Road Capabilities The Jeep Wrangler has always been a king of the trail. Because of this, it has to be one of the first things we talk about when we discuss exploring the outdoors in a Jeep. When purchasing a 2019 Wrangler, you'll have the choice of three distinct 4x4 systems. The Selec-Trac system is best for daily drivers and commuters. It has the ability to freely switch between a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. If you're looking to do some exploring though, you'll want to opt for the Command-Trac or Rock-Trac systems, which are built to handle more rigorous off-road trails. In addition to the wonderful engineering behind the 2019 Jeep Wrangler, it was put through Jeep's strenuous off-road testing program known as Trail Rated Tough. This set of tests ensures that your Jeep is able to handle anything the trail throws at you. Jeeps which are Trail Rated Tough are tested for traction, water fording, maneuverability, wheel articulation, and ground clearance. Other engineering features include differential distribution, a sway bar which can be disconnected, and low gear ratios. The inclusion of heavy-duty steel skid plates help protect the undercarriage of the Wrangler from a barrage of off-road rocks and debris. Of course, you get the same outstanding protection from pebbles and debris on the roads as well, so it's a win-win for Wrangler owners. The Wrangler's Engine Choices Will Take You There There are two engine options available on the 2019 Wrangler. Each is powerful and capable with its own set of key benefits. One of the major differentiators between the two is the amount of torque or horsepower you're getting. The first engine is the 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo engine. It has an output of 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine with a powerful output of 285 horsepower, but only 260 pound-feet of torque. Both engine choices can tow up to 3,500 pounds, so you'll have to decide if you'd like more torque or more horsepower in your 2019 Wrangler. Outdoor Ready Exterior Features The 2019 Wrangler is ready for the outdoors from every angle and that includes the exterior. Your choice of 17 or 18-inch wheels help conquer any terrain the trails throw at you. The foldable windshield can increase visibility during tricky trail maneuvers. The 2019 Wrangler gives you the option to manually switch on or off the bright LED lamps for added nighttime driving convenience. The road ahead has never been more clear! The Jeep Wrangler is an outdoor enthusiasts dream. The rugged frame and unmatched off-road capabilities make it perfect for off-roading, camping, and other outdoor adventures. 2019 Chrysler Pacifica

3 Must-Have Comfort Features of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica

Minivans have been popular among families for as long as they've been available. They seem to be ahead of the curve when it comes to comfort, entertainment, and cargo features that just maker each day a bit more enjoyable. If you like your vehicles on the cutting edge of comfort and entertainment, take the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica for a spin. It has all your favorite in-demand features and more. Here's a quick look at all this wonderful minivan has to offer. 1. Stow and Go Seating One of the biggest advantages of the 2019 Pacifica is the trademarked Stow and Go seating system, which is an unbelievable improvement in cargo capacity and convenience. With this revolutionary advancement, the second and third-row seats can be folded down and stored entirely beneath the cabin compartment. While this might not seem like such an incredible advantage or comfort feature at first glance, the moment you have to haul a big box or bring home all of your black Friday shopping deals, it becomes a huge benefit. Instead of trying to figure out the perfect way to cram all your cargo into the van, simply stow the seating so it lays completely flat and load up with ease. 2. Comfortable Seating Throughout the Cabin Having the ability to stow your seats for extra cargo helps out immensely in the convenience department, however, the seats themselves are some of the best in the market. The 2019 Pacifica can easily seat up to eight passengers without feeling crowded. Of course, it's not just about the comfortable interior space that makes this possible, the seats are also designed for comfort during long trips in less than ideal conditions. Heated, cooled, and ventilated seats are available for the front row seats. Second-row seats have heating options as well, but no cooling. 3. Extra Technology and Added Carry-On Storage Chrysler knows that the minivan is mostly driven by those with families, and that's why they designed the 2019 Pacifica with that in mind. There is not one, but two 10-inch touchscreen Bluetooth compatible screens for the second-row passengers, making in-flight entertainment on long drives a piece of cake. The second-row seat devices are equipped with road-ready games such as the license plate game and back seat bingo. While your passengers enjoy their devices and touch-screen displays through wireless headphones, you can listen to what you like with Bluetooth-connected audio. Entertainment is at your fingertips on the 8.4-inch center console monitor. From here, you can access your messages, make phone calls, and more. Link up with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for even more access to your favorite entertainment. If all else fails, turn your Pacifica into a mobile fun-zone by activating the 4G LTE hotspot. For a small data charge, you can offer up amazing entertainment and streaming options to all of your passengers with Wi-Fi ready devices. With the added comfort and technology features available on the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, there has never been a better time to consider making the minivan your next vehicle. Stop in for a test drive today and see what all the rage is about.   Imaga via chrysler.com

With a lineup consisting of only the Pacifica minivan and the 300, Chrysler's future needed a jump start with fresh and innovative designs. With engineers focused on going green, the news about Chrysler's electric vehicles has enthusiasts excited to learn more about the Portal concept. Phasing Out the 300 With executives previously stating the uncertainty of the 300's future — due to the model no longer fitting with Chrysler's desire to be a "people movers" brand — it comes as no surprise this model is anticipated to be phased out by 2020. This move will leave the Chrysler brand with only one vehicle. Media sites are reporting the Chrysler Portal Concept is slated to go into production in 2020, relieving the Pacifica of the pressure of carrying the Chrysler brand alone. While little information is known about the details of the production model, automotive experts do know that it will be an electric vehicle similar to the concept debuted at the 2017 Consumer Electrics Show. Potentially, this could be a wise move since Waymo and Chrysler have an impressive partnership, but the Alphabet-owned company tapped the Jaguar Land Rover recently to provide 20,000 Jaguar I-Pace electric cars. The decision to move the Portal into production would provide Waymo with an even more eco-friendly choice than the existing Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan. The Chrysler Portal Concept To design the next generation of family transportation, FCA sought the fresh ideas and collaboration of millennials working within its engineering and design functions. These ideas resulted in the concept of the Chrysler Portal: a vehicle designed by millennials for millennials. Millennials are a cost-conscious, environmentally-aware, and tech-savvy generation. The Chrysler Portal concept was created to address these needs and to explore the possibility of what a family-friendly car should look like for the lifestyle of the millennial generation. The technology, adaptability, and flexibility features also make the Chrysler Portal concept ideal for commercial and business applications including delivery services, car sharing, and ride-hailing. The Chrysler Portal concept was designed in partnership with supplier partners who shared their expertise and innovation in bringing future technologies to life. Key Features Chrysler fans can expect to find the following features in the Chrysler Portal: A range of more than 250 miles when fully charged. Recharge to a range of 150 miles in under 20 minutes with the DC Fast Charge (350 KW) battery pack. A flat-load floor and overall increased spaciousness of the vehicle thanks to a minimized engine compartment. Seating that is track-mounted with the ability to slide the full length of the car, fold flat, or be removed entirely. Articulating, portal-shaped, illuminated front and back doors that make for easy loading and unloading. A wireless network within the vehicle that allows for seamless integration of smart devices. Voice biometrics and facial recognition technology, which will enable customized family and individual settings. A sensor technology suite enabling SAE Level Three semi-autonomous driving mode.
