Trim Levels
The entry-level RAM 1500 Tradesman has 18-inch steel wheels, black bumpers, automatic headlights, and heated and power-adjustable side mirrors. Stepping up to the Big Horn trim gives you 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, and chrome bumpers, while the Rebel trim adds LED exterior lighting, all-terrain tires, and an upgraded suspension with a raised ride height. Choose the Laramie trim for more chrome trim, power-folding side mirrors, and LED headlights, or the Longhorn trim for 20-inch alloy wheels, side steps, and a spray-in bedliner.
The upscale Limited trim has a four-corner air suspension and power-deployable running boards. If you choose the TRX trim, you'll get flared fenders, amber LED headlights in the hood scoop, and a performance exhaust.

The larger 2023 RAM 1500 cabs offer room for up to six people. The Tradesman trim has easy-to-clean vinyl upholstery and flooring, while the Big Horn adds cloth upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Stepping up to the Laramie trim gives you leather upholstery. This model has more upscale features, such as a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, and heated and ventilated front seats. Choose the Limited trim for premium front bucket seats.
Technology starts with a 5-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth, but just bumping up from the Tradesman trim gives you the option for an 8.4-inch touchscreen, the Uconnect infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. The Laramie trim makes all these technology features standard and adds a Wi-Fi hotspot, Ram Connected Services, and a nine-speaker stereo.
Safety Features
The entry-level 2023 RAM 1500 has a rearview camera, trailer sway control, roll mitigation, and a rear seat reminder. The Big Horn trim offers the Level 2 Equipment Group with front and rear parking sensors, and you can also get a head-up display with this model.
In contrast, the Laramie trim offers automatic high-beam headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a blind-spot monitoring system that includes trailer coverage, and rear cross-traffic alert. You'll also find the Laramie incorporates the Advanced Safety Group. This group encompasses adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning.
