The 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer comes in five trim levels: Grand Wagoneer, Series II, Obsidian, Series III, and Series III Obsidian. For 2023, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer has a larger big brother, the Grand Wagoneer L, which is longer by 12 inches and 5 inches on the rear overhang. Only the base trim comes with a 6.4-liter V-8 engine, while other trims come with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. An eight-speed automatic transmission system delivers power to all four wheels for all the trims.

For the 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, a new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 510 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque replaces the previous V-8 engine. Nonetheless, drivers with Obsidian models who still need the V-8 engine can opt for an available 6.4-liter engine that offers 471 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque.

The V-8 engine is less powerful than the six-cylinder engine, but it's more fuel efficient. With the V-8 engine, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer can tow up to 8,260 pounds, while the twin-turbocharged engine can tow a maximum of 9,750 pounds.
